Insights → Trends shows how things change over time, per budget month.

The cards

• Your average income, average expenses and average balance per month over the period, and the total expenses.
• Income vs expenses: each budget month side by side.
• Needs and wants per month: each month’s spending split into needs (black) and wants (orange), based on your categories’ budget types. The dashed line is the needs share your strategy aims for.
• Month comparison: two months next to each other, per category. Change months picks which ones.
• Expenses per category: a small chart per category, with its average per month and total. Filter on all, needs or wants.

Use the Period menu at the top to look at a longer or shorter stretch.
