Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Settings → Appearance: Light, Dark or Same as your device (follows your device’s light or dark mode). On a computer, the theme button at the bottom of the sidebar switches too: each tap goes light → dark → system. The choice is per device.
Language
Section titled “Language”Settings → Language: English or Dutch (Nederlands).
Currency
Section titled “Currency”Settings → Currency: Euro, US dollar or British pound. This only changes the symbol shown next to amounts; nothing is converted.
Financial month
Section titled “Financial month”Settings → Financial month sets the day your month starts, usually payday. Budgets, insights and Safe to spend all follow this period.
- Tap a day from 1 to 28 to set your start. It saves straight away, and the bar below shows where today sits in the period.
- Move the start to Friday when it falls on a weekend: for a salary that arrives before the weekend.
- Exceptions: when payday moves for just one month (holidays), add an override for that month only.
Budget and bills
Section titled “Budget and bills”Settings → Budget & bills decides what counts as spending.
Count recurring bills in category budgets
- Always: every bill counts toward its category’s budget.
- Only budgeted categories: bills count only where you’ve set a budget for that category.
- Never: budgets only track day-to-day spending; recurring bills are left out.
Shared costs: how split bills and money paid back show up in your reports.
- Show the full amount (the default): reports show what left your account.
- Show my share: reports show only your part of a shared cost. Your cash flow and the forecast always use the full amount.
